Youbetme, a new social app that aims to make it fun and easy “to make bets with friends about anything, anytime and 
anywhere,” has secured $1.2M on Fundable. The company hopes its app becomes the modern day handshake, “the fun, social way to make everyday bets with friends just a bit more interesting.”
Since launching this January, the Youbetme app has experienced enviable traction, reaching the number 5 spot in the App store and surpassed 100,000 downloads just 90 days. The Youbetme team expects to reach over 1 million downloads before the end of the year. The Youbetme’s team comprised of is working to finalize relationships with several large gaming companies as well as increase marketing efforts.
Helmed by CEO & Co-Founder Jason Neubauer, President & Co-Founder Justin Jarman and CTO Nils Lahr. Prior to co-founding Social Bet, Jarman served as Managing Partner at OmegaGE, an NYC VC firm and has played early roles in multiple startups that have shown solid success, including Mobli and Notarynow.com (Signnow.com), both of which have received significant venture capital backing. Lahr, a recognized technology leader and co-founder of 8 high-tech startups, has spent the last 17 years driving some of the most advanced Internet and communication projects and solutions in the world as both lead architect and inventor.
