The delivery startup has just launched its crowdfunding campaign on Seedmatch, targeting a funding threshold of € 120,000 and a funding limit of € 300,000 for it 60 day campaign. Atalanda’s business valuation is set at € 2,718,000.
Flashbacks of beloved kosmos: companies partnering with atalanda receive a kit that includes the atalanda system as well as an initial supply door stickers, posters, and shipping bags. To streamline the courier system, atalanda has developed “atalogics,” which sequentially manages the entire logistics process and monitors.
Founded by CEO Roman Heimbold, former CEO of SC Media Solutions and founder of the online platform online kollegium.de for teachers, atalanda sets itself apart from competitors with its Same Day Delivery, flat 5,95 € delivery fee, evening delivery, cooperation with courier services, retail and brand understanding, and its flexible API. atalanda first costumer was Hamburg company RegioBio, supplies to order on the same day fresh food from the organic farm next door. No atalanda has grown its services to include German and Austrian metropolitan areas.
- Merchants: Atalanda has targeted local retailers, branch of a retail chain branches, shopping centers and online store’s with nearby city warehouses that can feasibly offer atalanda’s Same Day Delivery. Via the atalanda’s website, mobile app or comprehensive external interface (API) to atalogics, useful features such as address books, default values and optimized surfaces, help merchants to place the shipments within seconds. Atalogics then takes care of the delivery process and keeps the retailer informed.
- Couriers: The atalogics system is further comprised of a scheduler app to control the driver by dispatchers as well as a driver app that every atalanda driver utilizes via smartphone. In the scheduler app, employees can view the current GPS position of a driver, the driver can assign different programs, problem descriptions and comments add a line or arrange returns. He can also decide whether the product is diverted via an intermediate warehouse, for example, to channel supplies between districts efficiently. The system informs couriers about new jobs that can accept or reject it. An order summary will display the open tasks. Couriers will find all the relevant data of the receiver and the location on a city map. During the day the couriers may pick from a wide variety of goods from atalanda’s partners for evening delivery. Transfers are confirmed with digital signatures. If problems incur, couriers can log on atalogics app. The basic version of atalogics that contains all the necessary functions, we provide the courier service free of charge.
- Customers: “Everything at a glance!” Each program offers a dashboard though which the customer can track in real time where their goods are located. The information includes the name and image of the driver, create a sense of trust. After receiving the goods, customers may also evaluate its delivery experience, so as to improve the internal processes permanently.
