FundedByMe, an investment crowdfunding platform based in Sweden but with operations in Finland, Denmark, Singapore, Spain, Germany, Italy & Norway, recently launched a self-crowdfunding campaign to raise capital for their expansion. In March of 2014 the campaign hit the pages of the funding platform with an initial goal of raising €320,000 in 45 days. Instead it took FundedByMe only 32 hours to hit that mark, the campaign was extended and 5 days later it closed at €682,000 (about $850,000).
FundedByMe had 384 investors from 27 different countries participate in the offer. They have put together a brief chronicle of the funding round an packaged it up in an infographic embedded below. It is interesting to see some of the data highlighted as this may highlight an industry trend.
