Sharing her insight about crowdfunding and its effects on the marketplace, Indiegogo’s hardware category lead Kate Drane spoke at the PSFK & PCH’s Makers Movement event in San Francisco earlier this week.
According to PSFK, Drane, who is currently responsible for the platform’s design and technology categories, discussed demand and how to guarantee that innovations overlap with an actual need. She then described marketplaces and how customer have increased demand to ensure that when products get made, they solve the real problems. She then outlined the importance of the marker movement.
