GiveALittle is a zero fees donation crowdfunding platform for New Zealanders. The no fee pledge is thanks to the owners the Spark Foundation who acquired the platform back in 2012. The site has been doing the crowdfunding thing for about 8 years now and they are the leading charity platform in New Zealand. Since the site launched 
they have raised over $20 million NZ but things have been picking up a bit. For 2014 about $12.3 million NZ was donated to charitable causes from 184,677 donations. This amount represents growth of an impressive 135% over 2013. The average donations stood at $66.53 with the largest pegging $25,000.
Spark, originally called the Telecom Foundation (part of the publicly traded communications firm), is “unashamedly passionate about helping to unleash the potential in all New Zealanders.” GiveALittle is one of their vehicles to accomplish this goal.
