Kickstarter Alum 1Lss Returns to Kickstarter With iPhone Mount MagBak Case

Hoping for another round of crowdfunding success, California-based 1Lss Inc. is excited to announce the official launch of their newest product, MagBak Case for iPhone, on Kickstarter.

The team at 1Lss has created a minimalist protective case and mounting solution for the iPhone sure to revolutionize the iPhone space. MagBak Case for iPhone is embedded with industrial strength rare earth magnets enabling the user to mount the case natively to any metal surface.

For non-metal surfaces, 1Lss has designed MagStick— an ultra thin magnetic strip that adheres to all surfaces allowing users to seamlessly mount a phone portrait or landscape.

Co-founder of 1Lss, Alex Baca stated:

“Our previous project, Magbak for iPad, was a great success. Our backers loved it. We also learned a lot while working on it. We took all that we learned and applied them in designing Magbak case for iPhone.”

To ensure that MagBak case for iPhone remained extremely thin, 1Lss designed custom shaped magnets. The magnet’s placement within the case does not interfere with any regular functions of the iPhone—LTE, compass, GPS, and Wifi all operate efficiently. The case itself, measuring just over 1 mm in thickness, is made out of three protective layers and comes in a variety of colors.

1Lss hopes to raise a minimum of $15,000 dollars during a 45-day campaign period. Pledges start at $34 for the “Early Bird Special” which includes MagBak for iPhone 6 or 6 Plus of any color, plus 1 MagStick. Those who pledge $49 or more will receive one MagBak for iPhone 6 or 6 Plus of any color and an additional 3-pack of MagSticks. Those who pledge $79 or more will receive a MagBak case for the iPhone 6 and the 6 plus, 1 MagStick for each phone, and an additional 3-pack of MagSticks.

Assuming that the project is successfully funded, 1Lss has vendors ready to ship out product as soon as May, 2015.
