Brief: Crowdfunding Platform For the Arts CrowdPress Announces Beta Launch

CrowdPress, a crowdfunding platform built exclusively for the creative community, announced this week the launch a public beta version of its website on March 25th, 2015, with a full version coming later this year.

CrowdPress 1CrowdPress provides artists, photographers, and designers around the world with a unique platform for creating printable projects which are funded by the crowd, then produced and shipped directly by the new platform.

Founder and CEO of CrowdPress, Aaron Corson stated:

“Current DIY crowdfunding platforms do not provide the support artists need once their project has been successfully funded. After backing more than 50 creative projects, I’ve experienced first-hand the challenges artists encounter after their projects were funded. With CrowdPress, I wanted to design a site that enabled talented artists to focus on doing what they love – create amazing art – without the hassles of working with printers, managing logistics or dealing directly with customers.”

CrowdPress 2Artists need only submit and share their artwork with fans. Once a project is funded, the highly experienced project support team at CrowdPress manages the printing, packaging, and shipping of rewards to project backers.

Only poster project will be available during the Beta phase. CrowdPress plans to expand to various other printable rewards, including t-shirts, calendars, comic books, playing cards, phone/tablet cases, 3D printing, and much more in the future.

Artists, photographers, and designers from anywhere in the world are encouraged to submit their projects for the CrowdPress Beta. All projects will be open to the public for funding after launch.
