Raising Capital on Crowd2Fund, Inntuit Wants to Save the Local Pub with PubCube

Fred Bell the FleeceFred Bell wants to reinvigorate the institution of the local pub.  Having owned and operated the Half Moon Inn, under Inntuit Limited, he understands the challenges and wants to help owners regain past glory or just improve their bottom line.  During the last few years the neighborhood Pub has been challenged due to the financial recession, high costs and shifting demographics.  The Pub has long been a mainstay of local communities but they have been closing at a rapid pace.

The Half Moon Inn, based in Yorkshire, has been operated by Bell during the last two and a half years and reportedly has transformed it from a “derelict building into a thriving food and drink” establishment last the heart of the community.  According to Inntuit the Half Moon is already profitable generating a small profit after just a short period of time.  Bell, the company’s sole director, wants to build upon the experience and apply modern technology to a legendary industry. Inntuit  is developing a suite of business applications to specifically support the independent pub trade. Labeled “PubCube”, it is planned that the software will be a cloud based application and will streamline all operational information operation empowering operators with data to succeed.  The software is also said to heavily integrate with social media and to facility marketing opportunities to help drive customers and sales. PubCube is now being crowdfunded on Crowd2Fund seeking a £40,000 loan to help finance the new software.  Investors may earn a 8.39% on the four year loan (credit score is labeled high risk), guaranteed by Bell.Half Moon Inn Crowdfunding

“We have chosen to use crowdfunding as its great to be part of a more sustainable financial system. Its also great to give our punters the opportunity to really become part of the pub. We didn’t want to work with the banks as we know some many people in the local community who have been failed by them over the past few years,” said Bell.

Bell believes he has an edge on the business, and the marketplace, and he wants to use his skill set to boost the struggling industry.  Will Bell, and his application PubCube, be the variable to save the community pub?  Only time will tell.
