Revlon Teams Up With Crowdrise to Launch LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge

Beauty brand, Revlon, announced on Thursday the second phase of its new philanthropic platform designed to have a greater impact on women’s health initiatives with the Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge.

Love is on 1The Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge is inviting charities dedicated to three leading health issues facing women today – women’s cancers, heart disease, and diabetes – to participate in an online fundraising challenge. The charity that raises the most donations for their cause over the course of six weeks will win an additional $1 million donation from Revlon. While the challenge will kick-off on September 21st, the application for charity entrants goes live today.

To host this fund-raising challenge, Revlon is partnering with CrowdRise, the leading site for charitable crowdfunding. The Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge is the biggest challenge award in CrowdRise’s history.

In order to participate in the Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge, charitable organizations must have non-profit 501(c)(3) status with a mission to better women’s lives and fall into one of the three select women’s health initiative pillars identified by Revlon: women’s cancers, heart disease and diabetes. As part of the application, organizations must include a statement on how they will spread LOVE for their cause.
