On Thursday, Colborne Communications announced that it has acquired Pubslush. This acquisition will go into effect on Monday, August 24th, and crowdfunding platform will continue to take submissions for book funding and pre-order campaigns.
Since 1977, Colborne Communications has provided a variety of editing, design and project management services for publishers across North America. It also provides a full range of services to self-publishing authors, from initial planning to worldwide distribution of ebooks and print on demand hardcovers and paperbacks. Just about the only publishing-related service Colborne wasn’t able to provide crowdfunding — until now.
The Pubslush co-founders, Hellen and Amanda Barbara, went on to thank the platform’s community for their constant support over the last three years. They are excited about this new energy and looking forward to seeing the website continue to grow and help bring thousands of books to life.
Greg Ioannou, founder of Colborne Communications, the Editors’ Association of Canada, and various other publishing ventures, will become the president of Pubslush.
