Invesdor officially initiated its operations in Norway with a Norwegian-based equity offering, insurance sector software platform Cloud Insurance. The launch will officially be announced and the crowdfunding round will open at the TechLive! Financial Disruption event in Oslo today.
“Until now, Norwegian companies have had no way to raise funds in this way from outside the country,” explained Invesdor CEO Lasse Mäkelä. “Invesdor is the first fully licensed equity crowdfunding service in Europe, which means we can assist Norwegian companies in raising funds for their international expansion plans and help boost their business with investments from Norway and across the world.”
Oslo-headquartered Cloud Insurance has already more than 70.190 kr toward its 450.000 kr goal for 3.23 – 6.54% equity offered. The campaign for the 13.500.000,00 kr prevalued startup ends at midnight on 10 March 2016. The second campaign to be launched will be for Trondheim-based Islero, a platform that aims to make “first-class” equity research accessible for self-directed investors. Pre-valued at 10.000.000,00 kr, Islero seeks to raise 450.000 – 1.000.000 kr for 4.31 – 9.09% equity offered. Invesdor plans to expand its services into Denmark in the near future.
