Earlier this week, San Francisco Business Times announced its 40 under 40 class of 2016 list. This list honors those who are considered rising business stars in the Bay Area. This marks the fifth year that the publication has recognized the amazing young talent drawn to the city.
Among to list of business leaders on the list was none other than Eric Migicovsky, the face behind Kickstarter success Pebble. His description reads:
“Under his direction, Pebble developed smartwatches for iPhone and Android. In April 2012, Migicovsky and his team launched the Pebble on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, where it became the most successful crowdfunded project in Kickstarter’s history. He raised $10.2 million in 30 days. In February 2015, Migicovsky and his team launched two more watches, Pebble Time and Pebble Time Steel, on Kickstarter, which became the fastest funded project in Kickstarter history.”
When asked about what his greatest accomplishment was Migicovsky’s response was simple:
“Starting Pebble.”
