Madison’s 12|12 Looks to Raise $100,000 on SeedUps Canada For Inglewood Neighborhood Restaurant Location

Madison’s 12|12, a soon to debut restaurant that will be located in the Inglewood neighborhood of Calgary, Alberta, has recently launched an investment round on SeedUps Canada. This establishment has been considered the “first restaurant” to be funded by the Canadian funding portal.

Madison's 12|12The restaurant, which is described as a community focused and community funded establishment, is set to offer a unique high volume 71-seat restaurant that will have additional 49-seat covered patio, which will be open ten months out of the year. It’ll offer nachos, craft salads, cocktails and craft beers. Instead of using a waiting service, Madison’s 12|12 will us a digital table ordering system that will reduce both labor and overhead costs.

Madison’s 12|12’s team stated the reason why the restaurant will be placed in Inglewood is because the neighborhood is a “trendy and transforming community” that attracts an abundance of foot traffic for its well known restaurants and shops. Rad Architecture and Ryan Murphy Construction are currently partners of this project. Tom Wach, co-creator of Madison’s 12|12, is also a director of SeedUps

Madison's 12|12During a recent interview, Wach noted that cost of the menu’s items will range between $10 to $15, which is lower than most of the restaurants in the Inglewood neighborhood and stated that given the Calvary economy, it makes perfect sense to keep the prices low. He also stated that each table will be equipped with electrical outlets for charging laptops, making it a great place for tech savvy customers looking to take a break from the office scene.

Construction of Madison’s 12|12 is set to start in the spring of 2016 and that the restaurant will be open for business in the summer of 2016.
