Print & Digital Media Company Family Traveller Seeks £500,000 on Crowdcube As It Plans Expansion in the UK & US

Family Traveller, a printing and digital media company that focuses on family-centric travel information and advice, has recently launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube with a mission to raise £500,000 as it prepares to expand in the UK and US.

Family Traveller 2Since its launch in 2012, Family Traveller has generated revenues in excess of £1.5 million. It currently publish both digital and print content through website, newsletters and bi-monthly magazine.

“No one family is the same and no one family remains the same. As families grow and develop, so do their interests. This gives us an opportunity to cater for the needs of our consumers for up to 20 years as they continue to come back to find inspiration and offers. We use advanced search history,’big data’ and social intelligence to deliver curated content in a timely fashion to our consumers. The key is to be relevant – for instance, by sending skiing content only to those who we know have an interest in skiing.”

Family Traveller also offers an annual subscription club that provides exclusive offers and discounts along with a shop that has products featured online and in the magazine, allowing instant purchase from editorial content. With the funds from Crowdcube, Family Traveller plans to further strengthen its existing platform to UK customers and create a highly personalized, social intelligent site that delivers content. The publication is planning to launch in the US by using the existing UK digital platform. 

Those who participate in the campaign will receive the following perks:

  • Family Traveller 1Invest £10: Family Traveller will send a free copy of the latest issue of the publication.
  • Invest £50: Will receive a one-year subscription to Family Traveller magazine (includes bi-monthly issues and a weekly newsletter).
  • Invest £100: Will receive a one-year subscription and access to exclusive family offers (25% off a Club Med holiday or £500 cash back from Scott Dunn).
  • Invest £1,000: Will receive a year’s membership to the Family Traveller Club and a magazine subscription and the publication will publish an article online written by the investor or their kids  about the latest family holiday. The publication will also send five annual magazine gift subscriptions for family and friends.
  • Invest £2,000: Receive a year’s membership to the Family Traveller Club, lifetime magazine subscription. This will also include the article published and 20 copes of the magazine to share with friends and family. The publication will give 10 free annual magazine gift subscriptions.

Family Traveller’s campaign is set to close at the end of June.
