On Tuesday, Kickstarter announced it has formed a new partnership with Guardian Live. The funding portal revealed since the UK launch in 2012, it has been overwhelmed with the creative projects from all over the community. It has even passed 100 million in funding for UK projects.
In addition to the partnership, Kickstarter and Guardian Live will be hosting a series of five talks to be held in London and Edinburgh from July through November:
“Each talk is centered around a specific creative category — including Games, Arts, Design, and Technology — and will provide tips and best practices for how to craft a great campaign and rally a community around a project. Some incredible UK creators will be joining us onstage to discuss their experiences using Kickstarter and to answer questions from the audience.”
