Seedrs sent out a note earlier today that June is going to close on a high note. According to the crowdfunding platform;
“June has seen the most funded deals of 2016 with 17 businesses hitting their investment targets. The biggest deal this month was independent brewer of award-winning beers West Berkshire Brewery who raised more than £1.7m from 647 investors.”
Other notable funding rounds that closed include , blow LTD, Pronto and HiyaCar. blow closed at about £1.3 million receiving help from Unilever Ventures that kicked in £500,000. HiyaCar, “the Airbnb for motor vehicles with all insurance barriers overcome”, raised over £210,000 – more than doubling its goal.  Pronto is a company that can provide Londoners with the easiest and most affordable quality food on demand in London ( in less than 25 minutes).  Pronto raised £838,000 in a convertible offering.
Seedrs is currently preparing for its US launch to offer their services on this side of the Atlantic. Â Unfortunately for retail investors, they will only be doing Title II, accredited crowdfunding. At least initiatlly.
