Brief: Former 1871 Senior Vice President George Vukotich, Ph.D. Named truCrowd’s Chief Operating Officer

Equity crowdfunding platform TruCrowd announced on Wednesday it has appointed former 1871 senior vice president, George Vukotich, Ph. D., as its new chief operating officer (COO).

George VukotichVukotich is notably co-founder of TruCrowd and was recently appointed by State of Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner to the Board of Trustees at Northeastern Illinois University. The funding portal stated that he will advise and be a board member for a number of startups and consultant to a number of incubators. He shared:

Now at truCrowd with the new crowdfunding rules we have the opportunity to change how startups are funded and open up investment opportunities to the general public so that everyone can benefit and have a chance to build wealth.”
