Brief: Pozible Introduces Upcoming Filmmaker Feature “ScreenConnect”

This week, crowdfunding platform Pozible announced details about its new feature, ScreenConnect. The new product notably allows filmmakers to distribute Pozible funded films by incentivizing viewers to share the film with their networks.

Film CameraScreenConnect’s features include:

  • Rent, Purchase, & Screening: Filmmaker will set up pricing, and the revenue will be given to the crowd distributor, ScreenConnect, and filmmaker.
  • Incentivized Crowd Distribution: Allows anyone to help share and distribute independent films using ScreenConnect’s embedding button. They are also rewarded when someone rents, purchases, or screens the film.
  • Crowdfunding Delivery: Pozible-funded films are given the option to use ScreenConnect to deliver the finished product to supporters for free and turn them into crowd distributors.

The Pozible team stated ScreenConnect is an easy way for filmmakers to show their supports the final product and for supports it’s as simple as paying a fee to buy, rent or screen the films. Information and instructors of how ScreenConnect works are below. The feature is set to go live later this year.
