Brief: Mark Perkins Named CEO of Kimbia

Kimbia, the single-day crowdfunding event platform for nonprofit organizations and higher education institutions, announced on Friday it has appointed Mark Perkins as its new CEO. Prior to assuming his new role at Kimbia, Perkins assumed leadership roles at various companies, including Tenure Holdings and Leasing Group and Dell.

KimbiaSharing details about his new role, Perkins stated:

“I am honored to have been elected Kimbia’s CEO because of the opportunity to help lead the company to position itself for greater growth while leveraging the gifts, industry expertise and talents of this team.”

Brian R. Smith, Kimbia board member and Managing Director of S3 Ventures, Kimbia’s lead investment firm, added:
