Revlon’s Second Annual “LOVE IS ON” Challenge Secures Over $6M; Cancer Research Institute Named Winner

On Monday, makeup giant Revlon announced the winner of its second annual LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge, which secured over $6 million through crowdfunding platform Crowdrise. The company reported that over 150 women’s health charities competed for the top donation and the Cancer Research Institute came in first place, by raising more than $1.3 million.

“As a company committed to the well-being of women, we are proud to support not one, but many important women’s health causes through the Revlon LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge. We are thrilled that our $1M donation resulted in many millions of dollars raised for charities that are making a real difference in women’s lives.”

The following came in second through fifth place in the challenge:

• Second Place: Basser Center for BRCA at The Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania with $1,184,300
• Third Place: Days for Girls International with $757,850
• Fourth Place: Beyond Type 1 with $451,360
• Fifth Place: Experience Camps for Grieving Children with $414,854
