On Monday, FundedByMe announced iTalent’s campaign, which is the second initiative on its Malaysia crowdfunding platform, has secured 310% of its €86,500 funding target. The company has reportedly registered interest to invest from investors in 73 different countries.
iTalent is described as an Enterprise Digital HR company that offers affordable people management solution to enterprises. The company stated it capitalizes on the strong demand for cloud-based solutions and is seeking to help businesses digitalize their processes to achieve global scalability and data-driven HR operation. The company itself was launched in just a little over two years ago and noted it also uses a fully integrated system that covers recruitment, compensation, performance management, and HR analytics. It was noted:
“Our services’ objective is to provide digitized HR solutions to accelerate manual operations toward automation and streamlining of these HR processes resulting in an efficient HR management for businesses.”
The news of iTalent’s successful campaign comes just a couple weeks after FundedByMe was awarded one of six licenses to operate as a “peer-to-peer” finance platform in Malaysia. The announcement came during the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) conference: SCxSC. Daniel Daboczy, CEO and co-founder of FundedByMe, revealed:
“Malaysia – and most of South-East Asia is seeing an explosion in crowdfunding,” says . “FundedByMe is one of the few truly global crowdfunding platforms positioned as the bridge between Scandinavia and Asia as we early-on saw the trend of cross-border investments.”
FundedByMe Malaysia has notably funded just under 500 companies with over 72,000 global investors since 2013. Halal Speed Dating, the first equity crowdfunding campaign from FundedByMe Malaysia, closed successfully with 40% of investors into that campaign originating from Europe.
