PrimaryBid, an online funding platform that enables investors to gain access to placings of AIM-listed companies, announced on Tuesday it won the Fintech Network of Oliver Wyman (FinTechNOW) Competition for 2016’s fourth quarter. FinTechNOW is described as a program that is run by the global management consulting firm in association with Innovate Finance. Winners of the program receive a one-month pro-bono consulting project with Oliver Wyman.
The judging panel of fintech industry experts awarded PrimaryBid the prize based on the strength of its product, the credibility of the team involved, and its track record of transactions. PrimaryBid will reportedly receive the full benefit of Oliver Wyman’s fintech and financial services industry experience to assist with their expansion plan and support in its scaling strategy.
Sharing details about the award, Dave Mutton, COO of PrimaryBid, stated:
“We are absolutely delighted to have been selected for this award. For PrimaryBid’s platform to be recognised by such an experienced panel of fintech experts reiterates the value of our offering. PrimaryBid continues to transform traditional equity fundraising processes by harnessing technology to create a streamlined digital platform for enabling easier access by investors to equity fundraisings of public companies, within the parameters of the highly regulated capital markets environment.”
He then added:
“We look forward to working with Oliver Wyman whose valuable insight will no doubt lead to further enhancements.”
