Assiteca Crowd, a Consob regulated investment crowdfunding platform in Italy, is launching a sister crowdfunding platform to enable donations. Assiteca Crowdonor will launch on January 26th with the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy” campaign.
The agreement was signed with the company “Borghi Services and Environment” and aims to enhance the great historical, artistic and cultural development of small Italian towns through an innovative financing instrument. Assiteca will officially unveil the new platform on Wednesday, January 25th, at its headquarters.
In addition to the managing director of Assiteca Crowd, Tommaso D’Onofrio, and the president of “The Most Beautiful Villages of Italy” Fiorello Primi, the mayors of the first villages identified for crowdfunding will be in attendance.
The projects presented by the municipalities were selected based on selected parameters and the social impact of national and international communication associated to the initiative of crowdfunding. The names of the villages will be unveiled during the press conference.
“It is a unique project for the enhancement of Italian villages,” said D’Onofrio. “The civic mechanism of crowdfunding now begins in Italy, as has been done in other countries to become a tool for growth for communities and enhancement of the country. “
“It’s another opportunity that is offered to the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy that will certainly improve the already excellent quality of architecture, landscape, and cultural history. The goal of our association is to improve the quality of life of residents and the experience of tourists. Civic crowdfunding is an extraordinary tool for achieving these objectives.”
