Indiegogo Appoints Nate Murray As Head of Gaming

Global crowdfunding platform Indiegogo has appointed tabletop game veteran, Nate Murray, as its new Head of Gaming. According to Venture Beat, Murray will oversee Indiegogo’s gaming team and work directly with campaign organizers on strategy and development. Murray’s previous crowdfunding experience includes working on tabletop game initiatives such as Machi Koro and Ex-Files. He also worked on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles board game.

While speaking about his new role at Indiegogo, Murray stated:

“I’ve spent the last four years studying the ins-and-outs of crowdfunding and based on that work I can say that Indiegogo provides unparalleled resources and opportunities for game campaigners. I’m excited to join the Indiegogo team because the platform is designed to help campaigners raise the funds they need to create their ideas, as well as assist them beyond their campaign dates.

He then added:

“Indiegogo is part of the entire process of bringing campaigners projects to life from concept to manufacturing and ultimately to market.”

Murray’s appointment comes two months after Indiegogo teamed up with MicroVentures to launch its very own equity crowdfunding platform.
