Online lender ThinCats predicts a major recruitment drive for 2017. The Peer to Business lender has just appointed 
as Business Development Executive for its Origination Team. ThinCats says Takhar is just one of multiple strategic hires designed to boost growth and strengthen reach into the SME community. Takhar joins ThinCats from RBS, where he was engaged with commercial banking and capital markets.
Damon Walford, Chief Development Officer at ThinCats, said that Takhar was one of several appointments within the Origination Team.
“This model is unique in the P2P sector, using independent financial experts to vet and assess the businesses looking for loans, while providing borrowers with access to funding that may be difficult through traditional channels. The model also offers lenders better information and guarantees a more detailed assessment before they decide on where to invest their funds.”
