InsurTech startup Hippo announced on Tuesday it has formed a partnership with virtual insurance agency provider, Elafris. According to Hippo, the new partnership agreement will allow the company to create its own virtual agent chatbot infrastructure.
Hippo describes itself as revolutionizing home insurance by making it fast and simple to purchase online. It offers more transparent coverage while charging lower prices by going to directly to customers instead of through commissioned agents. While sharing details about the partnership, Jake Diner, founder and CEO of Elafris, explained:
