Just one month after securing more than $11 million on Kickstarter for his new project Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5, creator of the highly anticipated board game, Adam Poots, sat down with the platform to discuss his crowdfunding experience.
As previously reported, Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5 is described a massive cooperative board game. Players must survive a nightmare-harrow world by fighting for their lives against an onslaught of terrifying creatures. They will also use objects acquired from battles to build civilizations. Poots previously raised $2 million on Kickstarter for the original Kingdom Death in 2012.
During his interview with Kickstarter, Poots shared details about his team:
“We all share a burning passion for old-school board games, the kind where friends can sit down together at a table playing mighty heroes fighting scary monsters in fantastical settings that fueled our imaginations.”
