Derby Brewing Co. Announces Upcoming Crowdcube Campaign As it Prepares to Open New Venue & Export Worldwide

UK-based Derby Brewing Co. announced it is preparing to launch an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube as it prepares to expand and open new venues. Founded in 2004, Derby Brewing Co. is headed by Trevor Harris, who started his brewing career in 1991. The company shared:

“After over a decade of unprecedented growth, in excess of 700%, a multi award-winning brewery, four award-winning venues and now employing more than 100 people, DBC is offering its customers and lovers of great venues and beers the chance to become part of the business. With the huge opportunity in the beer market and in great venues, after years of organic growth, the decision was made to push on and grab the opportunity.

The company also noted that 2017 is set to be an exciting year, with the launch of a new craft range in craft keg and 330ml bottles, exporting worldwide, and opening a new site. Managing director of Derby Brewing Co., Paul Harris, reportedly stated:

“Our goal is to make 2017 a big year. There are many options for continued growth across a number of markets. Over the years it’s been quite a ride and we love the idea of as many people as possible being a part of what we are doing, being part of our exciting plans and of course enjoying a few beers along the way.”

Paul’s father and director, Trevor Harris also commented:

“It’s increase to see the continue evolution of the business. We love the idea of the people of Derby and further afield becoming part of our exciting plans.”

Funds from the campaign will be used for the following:

  • Expand the brewery
  • Develop the current venues
  • Open new venues
  • Develop new Crafted range
  • Begin sharing its beers with the world

Derby Brewing Co.’s Crowdcube campaign is set to open this spring.
