Dosh Milestone: More Than 100,000 Companies Join Fintech Company’s Merchant Network

Fintech startup and new app Dosh announced on Thursday more than 100,000 companies have joined its merchant network. The latest companies to make their way to the network are Forever 21, Applebees, and IHOP. The company revealed that its platform auto-magically incentivizes consumers with cash and allows merchants to directly engage with customers in new ways by leveraging behavioral insights to micro-target potential customers, track performance, and acquire new customers while improving customer loyalty and social amplification.

Speaking about his company joining the Dosh platform, Alex Ok, president of Forever 21, Inc., shared:

“I believe that Dosh has the opportunity to shift how merchants and large brands spend advertising dollars toward growing and retaining their customer base. Dosh enables Forever 21 to attract new customers and build even deeper relationships and understanding with our existing customers.  Like other leading brands, Forever 21 wants to see that every marketing dollar produces an ROI.  Dosh is very effective in helping us do that.”

Ryan Wuerch, founder & executive chairman at Dosh, also noted:

“Merchants and brands are working harder than ever to break through the noise and attract new consumers. We’ve built a platform that will dramatically change how merchants and brands acquire customers, build loyalty, and cause their customers to tell others about them.  Merchants waste billions of dollars every year on big media advertising like TV commercials, radio spots, print and billboards to attract customers with little to no known ROI.  Merchants want to know that every dollar they spend performs, and Dosh delivers those results.”

The announcement of Dosh’s merchant platform expansion comes just weeks after the company secured $2 million during a seeds funding round. The company reports that the new funds bring its total investment to more than $6 million. Dosh will launch a public beta on April 25th and reportedly has thousands of users in private beta who are receiving cash back through their daily transactions.
