Plexal, soon to be Europe’s largest innovation hub, is scheduled to open on June 12th. Plexal will be home to an astounding 800 startups and corporate organizations as it becomes another building block in UK’s innovation based economy. Plexal will be based at Here East on Queen Elizabeth Olympic park and encompass an enormous 68,000 square feet of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Plexal will be led by Claire Cockerton, the founding CEO of Innovate Finance and founder of ENTIQ. Cockerton helped to establish Innovate Finance as a leading voice in the global Fintech ecosystem. Plexal was designed by ENTIQ, known for creating Level39 and Cognicity
The facility is designed to be a state-of-the art environment for both big and small companies to accelerate innovation. It is a turn-key operation that provides a ” holistic suite” of services including accelerator programs, in-house professional services, prototyping equipment, entrepreneurship training, mentorship and events.
