Global equity crowdfunding platform OurCrowd announced on Thursday it has appointed Alan Weisleder as Partner and Executive Vice President of Investor Relations. The funding portal revealed that Weisleder will lead its global investor relations team, being responsible for developing and maximizing client acquisition and investment for its portfolio companies, and head the strategy and expansion of its marketing approach, product offerings, and communication tools.
Speaking about Weisleder’s appointment, OurCrowd CEO Jon Medved stated:

Commenting on his new role, Weisleder shared:

OurCrowd added that prior to joining its team, Weisleder spent nearly 20 years in executive management positions at startup companies in Israel and California. His previous leadership roles include EVP Global Sales at GigaSpaces, SVP Business Development at StoreDot, CEO at Keebali Media, and CEO of NewChannel – sold to LivePerson (NASDAQ:LPSN).
