SeedInvest has partnered once again with Jason Calacanis and his forthcoming LAUNCH Scale event to provide live crowdfunding.
This is the second time SeedInvest has powered live crowdfunding for Calacanis. In the spring of this year, SeedInvest partnered on LAUNCH Festival and helped to raise approximately $7.5 million from 3,900 investors. HelloMD, a previous participant, raised $1 million from crowd investors and $2 million from angel and institutional investors through SeedInvest. Kylie.ai, another participant raised $1 million via SeedInvest in under 30 days, closing its round early after it became oversubscribed. SeedInvest most likely will offer side-by-side Reg CF / Reg D (560c) securities to allow both accredited and non-accredited investors to participate.
SeedInvest said they expect to be selecting 10 startups to participate in front of an audience of 3,000 individuals and 180,000 registered investors on the SeedInvest platform.
Applications are being accepted now and the actual event will take place in San Francisco on October 17 and 18.
