On Thursday, equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube released its 2017 third quarter shareholder update. It was revealed:
“This quarter has seen Crowdcube have yet another commercially strong three months after launching 66 pitches, 38 in September alone. £25.6m has been invested through the platform, with seven businesses raising £1m or more, including Usain Bolt’s Enertor and Mindful Chef.”
Crowdcube also noted:
“We continue to celebrate milestones for our iOS App, which launched one year ago and recently passed through the £5 million invested mark. We also successfully defended aggressive pricing strategies from competitors and actually increased our average commission, demonstrating that entrepreneurs recognize the value of working with us. As part of our ongoing efforts to lay the foundations for our next phase of growth, we have continued to focus on process and product improvements to enhance the customer experience and increase our efficiency.”
