WePay Forms New Partnership With SignUpGenius to Simplify Online Payments

On Monday, WePay and SignUpGenius announced they have formed a partnership in order to provide a new process of accepting payments. According to SignUpGenius, organizers using its site can now collect payments from event participants for everything from ticket sales and event registrations to capital campaigns and business services thanks to using WePay’s payment processor.

While sharing details about the new partnership, CEO of SignUpGenius, Dan Rutledge, stated:

“Millions of people already use our sign ups to plan fundraisers, schedule business appointments, collect donations and much more each month. This is a natural step for SignUp Genius so people can seamlessly plan an event from start to finish on the site.”

SignUpGenius went on to add that close to 12 million users per month use its platform’s tools to coordinate people and events and communicate important event details through messaging and other advanced tools. Online payments are free for event organizers to collect, and participants are charged a simple and competitive 5% processing fee plus $0.50 cents per transaction.
