The Link App, a cloud-based encrypted communication platform, is now seeking £300,000 through its equity crowdfunding campaign on Seedrs. Founded in 2014, The Link App describes itself as the ultimate tool for busy law firms looking to thrive in an increasingly competitive market, improve customer service, save time and money, and increase productivity. The company revealed:
“Too many organisations are relying on outdated and insecure methods to update their clients. Letters and emails are a thing of the past. Consumer habits have changed. They want to communicate quickly and securely. WhatsApp, Facebook messenger, and high-profile cyber-attacks have changed the way we all communicate, and our expectations. The pull to innovate is compelling. The Link App is a multi-device, cloud-based, encrypted communication platform that delivers updates to clients instantly on their smart phone app or web portal.”
The Link App team also reported firms can update their clients instantly, share documents, offer e-signature requests or forms that can be completed paperless and on the go. Its platform does offer smart ways for them to interact with firms that maximise efficiency like requesting a callback. It can automate updates and integrate with existing tools. Founder and CEO of The Link App, Lauren Riley, then added:
“There are so many lawyers doing amazing work for their clients but the satisfaction levels in this profession are too low. Half the time this is because clients do not know what is happening on their matter or how hard the legal team are working to achieve results.”
All funds from the Seedrs funding round will be used to continue the development of The Link App’s platform. Since its launch, the campaign has successfully secured nearly £150,000 from more than 50 investors. It is set to close later this winter.
