Stox, a Blockchain based prediction network, has launched a “risk free beta” version of its site it has labeled “Sun Tzu” in honor of the Chinese New Year.
Stox is desiged to be an open source Ethereum based prediction market where users can make their predictions to generate their portion of a stake for a specified event. Leveraging crowd-wisdom, Stox wants to predict just about anything. Think finance, sports, politics and more. The STX token may be used as digital currency to bet on event predictions. Stox raised $33 million in an initial coin offering (ICO) last year that benefited by some high profile promotion. Boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather made his own prediction last summer when he said he was going to make a “$hit t$n of money on August 2nd on the Stox.com ICO.”
According to the Stox roadmap, it appears that Stox is currently on track.
Niv Abramovich, CMO of Stox, said the utility of STX tokens has been in the works for a while now, and with the new beta version, the migration is completed, and users will be able to use real STX tokens on the platform.
Stox added that it has forged ahead with new ICO-related prediction market partnerships with InsurePal, Sirin Labs, FintruX, BlitzPredict, and Lucyd. Stox has also added a new prediction to its successful ICO predictions category with LeadCoin and revealed plans for enhanced cooperation in the future.
“We are excited to announce the launch of our beta version. It took a lot of effort on the part of the whole team, but finally, we put together a user-friendly version in just four months. It was executed with enough simplicity for our newly adopting users to become familiar with the often-complicated process involving cryptocurrency transactions, introducing elements of functionality on the blockchain,” commented Yossi Peretz, Stox COO. “We thank our growing community for their tremendous support. We have a great responsibility towards them, and we see them as our true partners. We invite everyone to use the platform and predict outcomes without a risk. Expect new updates soon.”
