Regtech Company Exate Technology is Winner of Innovate Finance Pitch360

Innovate Finance, the leading voice for UK’s global Fintech industry, has announced the winner of Pitch360, its Fintech startup competition. The winner of the competition is Exate Technology, a data privacy firm that operates in the Regtech category. Along with being recognized by Innovate Finance, Exate Technology receives a £10,000 cash prize.

“We are thrilled to have been selected as the winner for the RegTech and Best Overall categories at the IFGS Pitch360. This is a great validation of both the importance of data privacy, as well as our solution,” commented  Peter J. Lancos, CEO Exate Technology.

Charlotte Crosswell, CEO of Innovate Finance, said the talent exhibited at this year’s competition is testament to the UK’s top spot when it comes to Fintech.

Exate will also receive complimentary membership to Innovate Finance, tickets to the 2019 Innovate Finance Global Summit and the opportunity to access top policy, PR and advice. Exate Technology will also be the first organisation to be accepted onto the expanded Global FinTech Mentors Program from Innovate Finance partner Hogan Lovells.

Pitch360 took place this week during Fintech week. The finalists represented eight categories: AI, Banking / Enterprise solutions, Distributed Ledger Technology (Blockchain), Financial Inclusion, Payments and FX, P2P / Alternative Lending, Personal Finance management / Robo-advising and Regtech.

  • Financial Inclusion: Trezeo
  • Payments and FX: Divido
  • P2P: StrideUp
  • Regtech: Exate Technology (*Overall Winner*)
  • Personal Finance: pia 

Judges for the competition included Andrei Brasoveanu, Vice President of Accel Partners, Bipin Sahni, EVP, Head of Innovation and R&D, Innovation Group at Wells Fargo, Catherine Wines, Co-Founder of WorldRemit, Dejan Kusalovic, Global Head of FinTech Enabling, Intel Corporation and Henry Ritchotte Founder of RitMir Ventures.
