Blockchain-Powered Equity Crowdfunding Platform Bloomio Appoints Bertrand Mueller to Board of Advisors

Bloomio AG, the blockchain powered equity crowdfunding company, announced on Thursday it has appointed Bertrand Mueller to its Board of Advisors.

According to Bloomio, Mueller has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry in Switzerland, notably in fund management, portfolio management, asset allocation and equity investment. His most recent positions include Senior Portfolio Manager at Pictet Wealth Management and Senior Investment Manager at Pictet Asset Management. He also serves on the Advisory Council of IMD Alumni and he is president of the IMD Alumni Association of Geneva.

While sharing details about Mueller’s appointment to the board, Max Lyadvinsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Bloomio, stated:

“Bertrand is an inspirational leader with an extensive experience in Asset and Equity investment management, gained in leading Swiss private banks. He will play a major role in ensuring the adoption of the highest investment standards in Bloomio.”

Mueller then added:

“I strongly believe that the VC industry is on the verge of a major disruption: liquidity will flow much more seamlessly from investors to Startups, the creators of future economic wealth and Bloomio is at the very heart of this process with its blockchain based crowdfunding platform.”

As previously reported, Bloomio has adopted blockchain to allow early-stage companies to raise equity capital in tokenized funding rounds. Having completed the first seeding round, raising CHF 700,000 from founders and private investors, Bloomio is now live and accepting registrations.
