ZenMate, a Germany-based VPN service provider owned by the internet security and privacy company ZenGuard GmbH, is now seeking £660,000 through its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube. The company notably provides an array of multi-platform online security products and services that ensure the users’ anonymity and protection while connected to the internet.

An estimated $1 trillion will be spent on cyber-security measures in the next five years. We are ZenMate – the online security service provider with over 40 million installs in 160 countries. From less than €1000 in sales in 2014 to €2.26 million in 2017 (EBIT -€1.13m), we’re looking forward to ensure that ZenMate has the capabilities to reach even to the furthest corners of the globe in the near future. That’s why we are partnering with Crowdcube to launch our crowdfunding campaign, and offer a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of ZenMate.”
Since the beginning of 2018, ZenMate has reached more than 40 million installs in over 160 countries. With a compound annual growth rate of 655% and a YoY sales growth of 29% in 2017, ZenMate is now aiming to transition into a fully comprehensive security provider by offering “privacy-as-a-service” in the near future. The company is operating in a rapidly growing market.
ZenMate also reported that the aim of the crowdfunding campaign is to accelerate growth by focusing on the expansion of the product portfolio, maximizing global presence by entering new markets via local distribution channels and last but not least, continuing to fight the good fight. Andrei Mochola, ZenMate CEO, stated:
