Companisto continues to have successful raises on its platform. The latest ongoing success is with Alarmtab UG. With its patented Bluetosec wireless technology, Alarmtab is looking to set global standards for security systems for intruder alarms, fire prevention and emergency calls. In order to jump to this next level the Magdeburg, Germany company has received operating funds by the principal bank and the state of Saxon-Anhalt and has now partnered with Companisto. The technology trademarked and patented The Alarmtab© product family achieved its proof of concept in 2017 and is now ready for international market penetration. Valued at €4,000,000, Alarmtab has already secured more than €634,800 from over 700 investors for 15.79% equity toward its €750,000 funding goal.
“The first active financial year closed with a small profit. What is important for Companists is the evidence that Alarmtab GmbH is not burdened by losses carried forward from previous years, as is usually the case with startups,” blogged Alarmtab Managing Director and Innovator Klaus Gehrmann. “This means that no loss carried forward has to be generated before the company reaches breakeven, a situation that is certainly not common among startups.”
Alarmtab, an offshoot of AMG Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, was founded as an independent business in 2015 to carry out the production and worldwide sale of the Alarmtab© product range. After the successful test phase, the Alarmtab© products are market-ready and are already in operation with hundreds of customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Alarmtab is preparing for its FCC certification (comparable to the European CE marking) for sale in the USA and Canada, which the startup expects to complete in the second half of 2018. In addition, the Alarmtab brands were registered in Amazon for EU-wide sales and products were listed on Amazon Great Britain, France, Spain, and Italy.
“A fulfillment partner is required for international sales on eBay so that the goods can reach the customer from the respective country in the shortest time possible,” wrote Gehrmann regarding these updates. “This partner handles shipping and returns processing in the individual countries. In the meantime, we have signed an agreement to this effect with Euro-Base, an international mail order company. We set up an office in Stansted near the airport for our activities in the United Kingdom, the most important market for security technology in Europe. The local activities in the UK have prepared us very well for the upcoming Brexit.”

What else is planned for Alarmtab, in the third quarter of 2018? The company plans to develop the Alarmtab multifunction sensor to combine all commercially available sensors in one single, digital sensor. Aside from comprehensive monitoring with only one sensor, and an integrated a smarthome control system.
“This multifunction sensor will also be able to connect directly to older smartphones and tablets. This allows the customer to set up state-of-the-art, intelligent safety and control systems without incurring high costs or installation by specialist companies,” shared Gehrmann. “This is a completely new product that does not yet exist on the market. Our long-term feasibility analyses have shown that our Bluetosec wireless technology makes this possible. In the meantime, the State of Saxony-Anhalt has given its approval to participate in the financing of this project through its Investitionsbank.”
