Urban Massage, a UK-based massage-on-demand scheduling app, is crushing its convertible campaign on Seedrs. Could there be anything better than an incredible massage: overfunding! The campaign is currently overfunding by 131%, having raised over £3,266,740 at this writing, with the confidence of more than 743 investors. The campaign raised £800K since last week’s CI report.
Founded in 2014 by CEO Jack Tang and CTO Giles Williams, Urban Massage’s mission was to democratize wellness by making wellness ritual accessible in all urban cities; just four years later, the tech-forward wellness platform offers a variety of massage treatments in the UK and France. Log in and enjoy one of 15 treatments such as the Urban Classic, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Pregnancy, Sports, Lymphatic Drainage and Thai massages.

“Most of the massages are full-body treatments, designed for ultimate relaxation. But each treatment can be tailored to you,” explained Urban Massage. “So, if there’s a particular area you want the massage therapist to focus on – or a part of your body you don’t want them to touch – you can just let them know.”
Crowdfunding will be used to expand and develop its tech; funding will also be used “to widen our offering into more of the services that help people feel strong and ready for anything – whether it’s a PT that gets you to that first amazing pull-up, or a facial that makes you feel clean and fresh after hours of tube commutes,” said CEO Tang. CI reached out to Urban Massage for further comment regarding overfunding on Seedrs and will post an update when received.
Urban massage has delivered more than 5,515,080 minutes of massage courtesy of 1,500+ therapists in threes countries. For more detailed information and campaign updates, please click here.
