FinMason Integration: Now Set to Power Orion Platform’s Native Monte Carlo Capabilities

U.S. Fintech FinMason announced on Monday it has integrated with Orion Advisor Services (Orion), a portfolio management solutions provider for registered investment advisors, to power Orion’s native Monte Carlo capabilities. According to FinMason, through Orion’s Insight dashboard, Orion users may now access the power of FinMason’s institutional-grade investment analytics platform, FinRiver, to deliver dynamic financial plans quickly and at scale.

FinMason reported that the FinRiver enables advisors to deliver simple yet dynamic financial projections based on current saving and spending patterns, which includes:

  • The probability of achieving future goals based on portfolio analysis of individual positions
  • Potential outcomes of different savings and spending rates, pre- and post-retirement
  • The effects of special spending events, such as buying a house or paying for college

Speaking about the integration with Orion,  Kendrick Wakeman, CEO of FinMason, stated:

“By embedding our financial planning analytics capabilities directly within Orion Insight, a platform so widely used and trusted, advisors can expand the scope of their planning efforts efficiently and easily.”

Eric Clarke, founder and CEO of Orion, added:

“Our strong and open integration architecture enables Orion to deliver access to in-demand solutions like FinMason, and supports our clients’ efforts to strengthen their relationships through financial planning analytics.”

The integration of FinMason’s financial planning analytics engine has launched and is now available on the Orion Insight platform. FinMason will be demoing their new tool at Orion’s Ascent user conference, September 5-7 in Miami Beach, Florida.
