Yolt, an ING created smart thinking money app, has hit a new milestone. The fintech startup reportedly now has 500,000 users signed up for its services.
Launched in the UK last year, Yolt is on a mission to innovate and collaborate in order to give everyone the “power to be smart with their money.” Since launching, the company has extended into Italy and France.
“Beginning with family and friends, we’re excited to launch in new markets. We had to think fast, learning as we went, constantly adapting and adding exciting new elements to Yolt. It was the people using Yolt in those early stages both in the U.K. and Europe that really helped shape where we are today. Stronger, smarter and still continually developing, we’re now excited to keep growing our Yolt community.”
The company announced the exciting growth announcement by tweeting the following:
It’s been an amazing 18 months for all of us at Yolt & we can’t quite believe our #community is now half a million strong! We’ve seen so many exciting milestones, from launching in the UK & Italy to kicking off #OpenBanking! Thanks to our amazing community for the journey so far! pic.twitter.com/BruCus5mhF

According to Finextra, Frank Jan Risseeuw, CEO, Yolt, stated:
“Our community is at the heart of everything we do and we’re absolutely thrilled to announce we are now empowering over 500,000 registered users to be smart with their money. Entering the Italian market in September was a huge highlight as we extend our mission across Europe, giving more people the tools to manage their money with confidence, and we are looking forward to joining the strong Fintech community in France.
