Global Payments Platform PaySend Launches New Service PaySendLink

PaySend, a UK-based global payments platform, has launched a new service, PaySendLink, which allows consumers to send money internationally using just the recipient’s mobile phone number. As previously reported, PaySend was founded in 2015 and describes itself as a UK fintech company and payments disruptor on a mission to change how money is moved around the world. The company claimed its the next generation money transfer platform that allows users to send funds from card to card from 40 to more than 60 countries.

Finextra reported that through PaySendLink, the recipient will see the incoming transfer and be able to direct it to any Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay card or a bank account of their choice, and start shopping or withdraw cash at any ATM worldwide. While sharing more details about the service,  Ronald Millar, CEO of PaySend, stated:

“We are constantly looking for ways to simplify and improve customer experience and make it even easier for the sender to initiate a transaction. Now all they have to do is provide a recipient’s phone number and click send. Forget lengthy forms and account numbers – money transfers have never been easier with PaySend’s unique platform.”

Millar went on to add:

“Besides being super convenient for the sender, PaysendLink also puts recipient’s worries at ease – they don’t have to send any personal information to a sender, only provide their phone number. Their personal information is entered directly into our secure platform. This sets a new standard when it comes to security and safety of customer data and financial information shared across borders. What’s more – it’s a recipient who decides where he wants to direct the incoming transfer to – their bank account, debit or credit card.”
