SharesPost, a private company liquidity solutions and private capital markets research provider, announced on Thursday SharesPost Alternative Trading System executed a secondary transaction in the “BCAP” security tokens issued by Blockchain Capital, the pioneer and premier venture capital firm focused exclusively on the blockchain technology sector. SharesPost reported that as a result of the transaction, it has become the first marketplace to enable both secondary trading and custody of digital securities.
While sharing more details about the transaction, SharesPost Founder and CEO, Greg Brogger, stated:
