Oral Health Subscription Service Brushbox Quickly Secures £500,000 Funding Target & Now nearing £700,000 Through Crowdcube Round

Brushbox, a UK-based oral health subscription box service, has quickly secured its initial £500,000 funding target and is now nearing £700,000 through its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube.

Founded in 2017, Brushbox claims to be the UK’s first oral health subscription box service that is designed specifically to revolutionizing oral care. Brushbox reported that since January 2018, it has delivered 3,000 boxes across the UK, donated 5,000 toothbrushes through its “Buy 1, Give 1” partnership with Dentaid.

“Simply sign up and our super convenient subscription service does the brain-work for you; sending you and the family a funky new toothbrush and lip-smacking toothpaste every other month – direct to your door, with no hidden costs and no drama.”

Brushbox revealed that its toothbrushes are 100% recyclable or compostable. Funds from the Crowdcube round will be used for key hires, expand on product range, and launch its UK-wide partnership programme with dentists. Speaking about the funding success so far, the Brushbox team stated:

“We’re also pleased to say that since our announcement yesterday that former CEO and Founder of Cloudreach, Pontus Noren, has joined us as an investor, we’ve had an influx of interest from other private HNW investors. With that in mind we’ve decided to extend our pitch by 7 days to enable some private investors complete their due diligence and even more of you to join us!”

The Crowdcube campaign is set to close mid-February.
