Nomo Banking Adds Raisin Savings Products to App based Platform

Nomo Banking, an App based banking service targeting freelancers, has added Raisin’s service to its platform. The bank will now offer its customers multiple options for overnight accounts and fixed-term deposits via Europe’s #1 deposit marketplace.

Raisin currently provides access to over 65 different products from more than 12 European countries and 15 partner banks. Nomo Banking customers will benefit from higher interest rates than they could obtain today in Spain – up to 2.01% APR. The Nomo Banking application is currently available in Spain for iOS and Android platforms.

Xavier Capellades, CEO of Nomo Banking, said the collaboration will be a powerful value to their users. Additionally, it reinforces their “positioning as an integral platform of services adapted to freelancers and their business needs.”

“We are confident that this synergy with Raisin is a step beyond in digital banking.”

“We continue to demonstrate that the future of banking lies in cooperation between banks and fintechs,” added David Jimenez Maireles, Raisin’s Country Head for Spain.

Nomo Banking, founded in 2018, is described as the “first neobank aimed exclusively at freelancers and solo entrepreneurs.”

Nomo is part of the Banco Sabadell which is Spain’s fourth largest private banking group. Banco Sabedell is comprised of different banks, brands, subsidiaries and part-owned companies covering all areas of the financial business sector.
