Revolut Launches New Business Mobile App

Digital bank Revolut announced on Tuesday the launch of its new business mobile app. This news comes nearly one year after Revolut debuted its Revolut for Business. Revolut reported that through the mobile app, users may do the following:

  • Track corporate card spending in real-time
  • View card details and PIN on the go
  • Freeze or unfreeze card if it’s misplaced
  • Receive instant spending notifications after every card payment

As part of the mobile app’s launch, Revolut revealed it is giving away 10,000 free corporate cards until February 22nd (Thursday). Users just need to log into their business account online portal to order the card.

If you’re new to Revolut, sign up for a Business account and enjoy a free 14-day trial with no strings attached, using the form at the bottom of this post. Once you’ve completed our onboarding, head to Cards and order free corporate cards for your team at the touch of a button!”

The mobile app’s launch also comes just a few months after Revolut acquired licenses to expand in Japan and Singapore. The launch in the Asian countries comes just after the fintech reportedly is planning to raise $500 million through its upcoming Series D funding round. Revolut reported it received a remittance license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore and full authorization from Japan’s Financial Services Agency. Revolut Chief Executive, Nikolay Storonsky, reportedly stated at the time:

“We have confidence that Revolut will continue to be a driving force as we expand globally, developing a range of exciting new services for increasingly connected consumers in APAC. It’s a huge market and we’re already seeing an incredible amount of people demanding our product.”

Launched in 2015, Revolut provides easy international money transfers and instant global spending using the interbank exchange rate. Revolut considers itself the only banking alternative designed for global lifestyle.
