Coinbase Unveils Real Time Price Alerts For Mobile App

Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase announced on Thursday it was introducing real-time price alerts for any cryptocurrency through the Coinbase mobile app. The new feature will automatically find out when the market moves on the crypto users care about most  without the need to go check websites or app.

“Tracking crypto prices in real-time has historically required crypto investors to check a variety of websites or applications, which can be inconvenient. As a result, it can be difficult to decide when to buy or sell, or just educate yourself on market performance. Today we’re launching price alerts for all tradable assets on Coinbase, built to meet your need for smart, automated alerts about your crypto portfolio — no manual work required.”

To use the alerts, customers need to update their apps and they will then be prompted to enable notifications. Once enabled, they will receive price alerts for any cryptocurrencies on their Watchlist. Coinbase further explained that its goal is to provide customers with the information you want to make more informed decisions about crypto. The crypto platform then added:

“Over time, we’ll expand price alerts to include assets not yet tradable on Coinbase. We’re excited about price alerts’ potential to empower crypto experts, educate newcomers to the space, and continue engaging people in crypto.”
