U.S.-based insurtech Lively announced on Tuesday it has partnered with Visa to add a new debit card processing to its HSA program. Lively reported its customers now have access to their HSA funds and what the company believes is quick, reliable debit transactions secured by the Visa Debit Processing.
“Through the Visa network, Lively is focused on providing individuals and employees unfettered access to the purchasing power they require to conveniently spend their HSA funds, when and where they need them. More locations, more control, and more real-time HSA-eligible purchase information will help Lively consumers use their HSA funds in the most optimal way possible. Visa also provides Lively consumers and customers access to a range of enhanced benefits including a large interconnected network and anti-fraud benefits such as purchase protection and ID theft protection benefits.”
Speaking about the partnership, Alex Cyriac, CEO and Co-Founder of Lively, stated:

Lively added that the Lively Visa debit card will be made available to all new account holders starting in the next few weeks and all existing cardholders will be transitioned over the coming months.
